Go to Hell! From the Middle Ages and into the Renaissance, churches offered sanctuary to criminals affording them the right to take refuge from the law. Ironically enough, fundamentalist Christian churches now shun and ostracize religious homosexuals who are working for the same cause but who just so happen to love people of the same sex. The hypocrisy and blatant intolerance of right wing Christian groups against spiritual homosexuals is unacceptable. Christian fundamentalist groups have kidnapped the Christian philosophy of loving one another and debased it to exclude homosexuals. Why should being gay discredit their spirituality any more than being Asian or fat?? Though I was raised Catholic, I am in no way religious (though my parents did ask me to speak to a priest when I came out to them. Shot out to Padre Alberto!). However, I still respect those gay men and women out there who do look to the church for inspiration and guidance. And it is absolutely abonimable to condemn men for loving dick or women for loving pussy. The church was not created to judge us but rather to accept everyone and provide spiritual guidance, not condemn gays to eternal damnation. The silver lining to that is that if indeed, we are all going to hell, at least it'll be infernally stylish!
