Raul's Nightclub was known for being the epicenter of the Texan punk scene in the late 1970s and early 1980s. While the venue was short-lived, it seemed to have its share of moments including appearances by Patti Smith, Devo, and Elvis Costello. The girl in the photos kept coming up as I was researching Raul's; although I wasn't able to I.D. her beyond a "punk fan", she definitely looks like the real deal. Makes me want to cut up some more hero shirts.
