Everydub + Menswear
The last day featured shows from Katie Eary, Xander Zhou, Shaun Samson, J.W. Anderson and the famous Savile Row. My favourite collections were Christopher Raeburn, E. Tautz and Hardy Amies .
Christopher Raeburn Autumn/Winter 2013Christopher Raeburn is known for his both functional and stylish collections, never hindering on masculinity and always showing to men their ability to pull off functional fashion with class. Colours such as bright red, grey marle, navy blue and forest green flow through his collection, allowing pops of colour for bold men this coming Autumn/Winter season.
E. Tautz Autumn/Winter 2013Classic men's tailoring manages to always get twisted by the vision of E. Tautz. Trousers are puffed, button up shirts are oversized and tucked out, double breasted jackets encompass digital prints and dynamic printed sweaters are what makes up this collection, but the boldness of the pieces do nothing but emphasize modern man's ability to express his style in different ways.
Hardy Amies Autumn/Winter 2013
Hardy Amies, an icon of British menswear, showed a collection that embodies the future of men's tailoring. A combination of different details on every garment create a look for the man who wishes to show the possibilities of menswear, including leather panels on ponchos, grid-like tartan in a variety of colours, mono-brow sunglasses and tucking one's trousers into the socks. The individual pieces are reminiscent of past trends but come together to create a look of the future.
