Lilly Allen and Sarah Owen Vintage Store Launch Tomorrow
Tomorrow Lilly Allen and her sister Sarah Owen are launching their vintage store in London, Covent Gardens! Its exciting times for them as this is a very new venture for the both of them. Myself and my friend from South Africa Laura are going to be heading down there tomorrow morning to document the happenings and be part of the madness that Im sure will be going on there! I was just reading a article about the launch on Daily Candy....here is it..

The vintage shop run by Lily Allen and sister Sarah Owen is finally opening tomorrow in Covent Garden, complete with a blow-dry bar, makeup counter and men’s waiting area with a PlayStation Move and comfy arm chairs.

The pair have trawled fairs and markets for their stock, so alongside collectibles by biggies like Chanel, Halston and Pucci, there are treasures from lesser-known names. So before you stop at the all-day vodka bar (yes, really), here are Allen and Owen’s pick of labels to know.

1. Bill Gibb
The flowing dresses of this Scottish designer (who outfitted everyone from Twiggy to Bianca Jagger) are completely in keeping with the current long-and-loose trend (£120-£1,200).

2. Laurence Kazar
You’ll wear one of this New York designer’s sequinned jackets from the ’80s more often than you’d think (£80-£200).

3. Leonard
Next summer (or on a sunny winter holiday), the colourful printed cotton dresses and matching bikinis from the French fashion house will look as fresh as they did 30 years ago (£250-£700).

4. Zoe Coste
This season is all about polish, right? Even your most basic tee-and-jeans outfit becomes glamorized with gold and coral cuffs or chunky bracelets from this ’60s designer (£150-£450).
