Im totally blown away by Alexander McQueens's last collection! In my opinion its definitely a masterpiece and a collection that is going to be remember! There is so much incredible detail to every garment with regards to colour, pattern and structure. The rich dark and golden tones that are used in a lot of the pieces are so well put together, the flowing motion of the pattern of the fabric is stunning because it creates this whole river of colours. I could really stare at each piece for several minutes because there is so much to discover...if only I could see them in real life. Now that would be treat and half!

My favorite part of the collection has to be the ever so distinct structure to the pieces. I can see that there is an emphasis on the contrast between sharp structures and soft folds in the collection. I really love the strong, stiff and protruding feel of the fabric which you can see in picture 3 of the gold suit. Whilst with other garments from the collection there are big feminine like, soft folds which create a more elegant feel. This is what makes McQueens designs stand out from every other designer out there. He really knew how to take a design to the next level in more than one way.

We will forever remember and miss Alexander McQueen for being the amazing and irreplaceable designer he was.
