The COP15 — United Nations Climate Change Conference - Copenhagen 2009, has started today. The city is not only full of politicians from all over the world, but also of journalists, weather activists (who are getting ready for some huge manifestations), and people that just thought it would be a good time to visit Copenhagen on this important occasion. The word of the day is HOPE and everyone is hoping that something comes out of this whole meeting. Personally, I think it will be nothing more than the same game of interests, the rich countries' interests, playing the main role again...But you never know....One good thing is that it's prolly more fun to go out during this time and the city has a better cultural agenda than usual. Nephew (the most famous danish band), for instance, is playing a free concert in downtown, right now...And Copenhagen's prostitutes have publicly announced that during these days it's free sex for all congress attendees (it's a sort of retaliation against some gov. decisions, and because they're such sweethearts) — that's why Copenhagen has changed its name to Hopenhagen (it's not a joke, just google it!)So let's wait and see....There's 11 more days to go....just wonder who's gonna be clappin at the end...
