RECESSION FASHIONISTA: DIY PROJECT — REVAMP OLD BLAZER
Due to the massive credit crunch hurting all fashionistas bank accounts, we are having to look for ways to update our wardrobes in a cheaper, money concsious way.

The one way you can update a older season blazer to make it modern and trendy for this season is by adding studs to the collar of the blazer. Studs are still a huge trend this season. This DIY project is so simple, so easy, so cheap and not time consuming at all.

All you will need is:

1.A blazer that you already have your wardrobe, can be any colour or fabric.
2.Atleast 30 metal studs- depending how many you are wanting or how big the collar is
3.Fabric glue

Where to buy the needed items:

1. Metal Studs- you can buy these from your local fabric stores and DIY stores.

2. Fabric glue-- you can easily find fabric glue from any fabric or DIY store

Method:

1. Think about how you would like to place the studs on the collar by placing them on the collar with out using glue first.

2. Once you have decided how many and how you want the studs to look, take a photo of the jacket with the studs placed in the right way, so that when you take the studs off just before you start gluing them onto the jacket you are able to remember exactly where you need to glue them.

3. Take the glue and place a appropriate size blob of glue onto the back of the metal stud and glue it onto the jacket collar and press down pretty firmly to make sure it will attach itself and glue properly.

4. Once you have glued all studs onto the collar, leave the glue to dry for about half an hour or how ever long the glue instructions tell you leave it for.
