For her resort 2009 collection held at the Van Cleef & Arpels boutique on Fifth Avenue, Erin Fetherston presented a gorgeous array of elegant and sophisticated grown up dresses, from demure floor length gowns to sexy mini cocktail dresses, injected with a dose of soft and ladylike icy pastel hues. The shiny materials with flower photo printed designs are exquisite. The feeling of this collection is very much reminiscent of a 50s debutante ball where lovely and young teenage girls would be introduced to high society.
She is scheduled to show her 2009 spring collection at 7 pm tonight and I am expecting more of her trademark whimsical dresses. The girl definitely break down fashion stereotypes and is on my list of favourite designers!
