Last week, I discovered the work of fashion photographer Christophe Rihet. This happened completely by chance: I bought a pair of low-waisted wide legged chinos from ... Jigsaw ... (not a place where I usually shop but I was quite seduced by the relaxed slightly hippie luxury of some of their pieces). I was looking at their catalogue and immediately fell in love with the sensual photography of Christophe Rihet. The compositions and saturated colours make the images dream-like. I like the soft backlighting of some of his work and love his use of warm temperatures.
I tried to find out more about him online but not much is said except that he started out as an assistant for celebrity Japanese photographer Satoshi Saikosa.
I assume that he's French (with a name like that he must be French)!
