More than a decade after they dominated the catwalk, Eva Herzigova and Helena Christensen proved they're still worthy of supermodel status. Czech born Eva, 35, and Dane Helena, 39, put their incredible bikini bodies on show while on separate summer holidays this week.
Still super: Helena Christensen in Miami and Eva Herzigova in St Tropez showed off their incredible bikini bodies this week Eva, who became a household name after winning the Wonderbra contract in 1994, turned heads while on a break in St Tropez, frolicking on the beach a skimpy string two-piece number. She is back in form after welcoming her first child, George, a year ago with her multi-millionaire Italian boyfriend Gregorio Marsiaj. During the pregnancy, she gained more than 25lbs and proudly declared at the time, 'I love being fat'.
Hello again boys! The Czech model showed off her trim post-baby figure But it appears her affection for carrying extra weight was short lived. With an estimated £10million fortune in the bank, Eva has now retired from the catwalk but continues to do magazine editorial shoots for top end designers including Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs. Across the globe, Helena was enjoying a romantic getaway to Miami with her British boyfriend Paul Banks.

Taking the plunge: The pair cooled off in the South Beach hotel pool In between topping up her tan, the mother-of-one showed the Interpol frontman - who is ten years her junior - with affection while relaxing at the South Beach hotel. Helena, now a respected photographer, apparently has a penchant for rockers - she was romantically linked with the late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence and Smashing Pumpkins frontman, Billy Corgan. Meanwhile, fellow former supermodels Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell also made glamorous appearances this month. The stars put their famous struts to work, with Claudia hitting London's Graduate Fashion Week, Cindy stepping out in Panama while Naomi storming New York's CFDA Awards.
All the world's a catwalk: Claudia Schiffer in London, Cindy Crawford in Panama and Naomi Campbell in New York all made glamorous appearances this month The iconic models are, says Claudia, the last of their kind. The German born mother-of-two famously declared last year that the new generation of models can no longer achieve the same kind of global celebrity the elite group of supermodels enjoyed in the 1990s. She said at the time: 'In order to become a supermodel one must be on all the covers all over the world at the same time so that people can recognise the girls. 'That is, for now, not possible, not least because the advertising industry is very much taken nowadays by popstars and actresses. Supermodels like we once were don't exist any more.'
