Kirsty Gallacher is preparing to host the latest incarnation of Gladiators, and when it comes to being in shape, she does not want to be outdone. The presenter, who has been following a vigorous fitness regime in recent months ahead of the show's return, unveiled her newly toned figure in a racy new photo shoot.

She will co-present the revamped series, set to air on Sky One in May, alongside footballer Ian Wright. She said: "I'm going to be very active in the show and I want to look good for all those men in tights."

Filmed at Shepperton studios, Gladiators is expected to be broadcast in its traditional Saturday primetime slot following a "21st Century makeover".
