Actress Martine McCutcheon is no stranger to the onscreen kiss - but on this occasion she locks lips with a female co-star, all in the name of her art of course. Martine is seen here kissing a woman on the set of Moving Wallpaper, ITV's behind-the-scenes sitcom about the making of soap Echo Beach. Martine's character Susan (from Echo Beach) is "secretly filmed" by a "mole" cameraman while she's complaining about kissing techniques with production assistant Mel (from Moving Wallpaper) played by Liz Berrington.

And in an attempt to perfect her technique, she grabs Mel and pulls her in for for a demonstration. Martine McCutcheon has declared that she is delighted with the reception of her new TV show, Moving Wallpaper/Echo Beach. Speaking at the South Bank Show Awards, she said: "I'm really thrilled and I know that ITV are really happy with it. "Apparently they're really happy with the audience that they've reached which is a younger audience. I think they're just waiting for it to go from strength to strength hopefully." In the soap Echo Beach, Martine plays housewife Susan Penwarden and the actress revealed she can't wait to go back to film more. "We just all want to film together again because we absolutely genuinely got on like a house on fire in Cornwall," she said. "I don't think it's ever been the same since we left." She added that whilst she doesn't read the press, she thinks positive criticism is important. "There's always something that you can enhance on," she said. "There's always something that you can do to make a show better and I'm sure the producers and ITV will take on board any relevant comments and make it work."
